EZ Pai Gow Poker

EZ Pai Gow Poker is played with a standard deck of cards plus one joker. The joker may be used to complete a royal flush, straight flush, flush, straight, or used as an ace. Up to 6 Players can play along with the Dealer. Each Player receives seven cards to make up two hands, one 2-Card Hand referred to as "The Low Hand" and one 5-Card Hand referred to as "The High Hand". The Players are playing against the Dealer's 2 Hands. Table limits will be posted for minimum and maximum bets for standard Pai Gow wagers and Bonus bets.

The Bet
Each spot on the layout contains two squares: the top square is designated for the Player's 2-Card Low Hand while the bottom square is designated for the Player's 5-Card High Hand. The 5-Card High Hand must have a higher poker ranking than the 2-Card Low Hand.
There are also betting circles for the optional Dynasty Bonus Bet, Queens Dragon Bet, and EZ Pai Gow Protection Bet.

Players start by placing their Pai Gow wagers. Players do not have to play the optional Bonus Bet, but they do have to play the Pai Gow wager. There is no commission for the Pai Gow wager.
All the Players below chose to place the optional Dynasty Bonus and Queen's Dragon bets in addition to their Pai Gow wagers.

The Play
The Dealer will use 3 dice in a cup that they shake or a digital random number generator to determine where the first set of seven cards will go.

The Dealer will then deal out the hands.

EZ Pai Gow Poker 4 Updated

Players will set their hands into a 5-Card High Hand and a 2-Card Low Hand.

EZ Pai Gow Poker 5 Updated

After all the Players have set their Hands, the Dealer will set their Hand according to the House way of setting hands.
The Dealer has a Queen of Diamonds, Queen of Spades, Queen of Clubs, 4 of Clubs, 4 of Diamonds, 10 of Spades, and 2 of Spades, so he sets the Queens and 4s as his High Hand and the 10 and 2 as his Low Hand.

*Note: Hollywood Casino St. Louis may, in its discretion, permit a Player to wager on no more than 2 betting areas at a Pai Gow Poker table. Both betting areas must be adjacent to each other. If Hollywood Casino St. Louis permits a Player to wager on 2 adjacent betting areas, the cards dealt to each betting area shall be played separately. If the 2 wagers are not equal, the Player shall be required to rank and set the Hand with the larger wager before ranking and setting the other hand. If the amounts wagered are equal, each hand shall be played separately in a counter clockwise rotation with the first hand being ranked and set before the Player proceeds to rank and set the second hand. Once a hand has been ranked, set, and placed face down on the appropriate area of the layout, the hand may not be changed.

The Dealer will start with the Player closest to the Dealer's Right (The Left Player in the Image above) and turn over their cards for comparison. The Dealer will pay, take, or push the Pai Gow wager and then pay or take the optional Dynasty Bonus bet, Queens Dragon bet, and EZ Pai Gow protection bet.
